Send your congratulations to Shyboy & Alla who are getting married on the 1st of March 2011
This is the first Lonely.ie marriage that we know of I am sure there are more. Post your congrats below and tell us if you know of any more engagements, marriages, births or even deaths.
Lonely.ie has sent a little gift to the happy couple with our congratulations from all the team. It was a happy office day when we got the good news.
Hi,
My partner Alla and I thought you might like to hear of our success story. I originally joined Lonely.ie in April 2008 using the nickname: "Shyboy". From the beginning I found it to be very friendly and easy to make friends. I went out on a couple of dates with some nice girls.
Then Alla joined on 4th May 2008. We went on our first date in Bewleys a week later and immediately hit it off. We continued seeing each other on a weekly basis, taking it slowly at first because we were both only interested in friendship. Then gradually over time we fell deeply in love.
In September 2009 Alla moved in with me and in July 2010 I proposed marriage.
To make a long story short, we are now getting married on 1st March 2011 (my birthday!). Last night we were discussing how we first met and realised that the least we could do was to send you an email to say "Thanks !"
